My DP was called back to work overseas on thurs.

My dad is really poorly. Possibly cancer

I had a vomiting bug yesterday.

My teen son today has been a Knobhead and called me brain dead. Told me he can't stand me and that I don't love him.

Happy Birthday OP! It's my birthday too today. & tbh yes, I'm not spending it how I'd prefer - DS is at another birthday party with DH & I'm home with DD who isn't very well. We're currently watching Junior Bake Off & not doing much else.
But I had a good day yesterday; & DH & I are going out next weekend & have the day together on Tuesday when DC are at school. My solution is to spread the celebration over several weeks 😁

Oh I did call him out and I popped to the local pub for a couple of drinks and left him to it. He's 17 next month. Ironic that his birthday in 3 weeks.
