Taylor Swift tickets

Can't decide whether to pay £150 each for TS tickets. OH and the kids are very keen as they say it's a once in a lifetime thing. But it's still v expensive even though OH would probably pay. It's quite close to us but it's the queuing, the crowds, standing up for about 4 hours etc. Need to get back to the seller soon so need to decide. I'd be happy to save £520 and see it if it comes to the cinema! But I'd be gutted if they went without me. What should we do?

UPDATE it was a scam! I asked for her payment details and the account holder was not her. I asked who it was and she said "a colleague. I'm sending you the payment details so you can send payment quickly". I was suspicious so asked if we could meet in person. She said I could pay half now & half after she sent the tickets. I said I would call her. When I did, the call was rejected. Some of her messages contained broken English too and bad punctuation. I think someone hacked her FB so I'm going to report it. Lesson learned!

so your friend was the scammer

or the friend of a friend was a scammer??

PicklesAndTequila · 22/01/2024 13:56

Don't touch any resales except for Twickets.

I think someone hacked the friends FB account. So neither was the scammer.

It's a friend of a friend so definitely legitimate

maybe be a touch more questioning when comm is all via FB messaging!

Honestly - the only way you're going to get them is through the resale with AXS / ticketmaster. And even then there's going to be a mark up on them.

There's a girl on TikTok who has helped people get legitimate tickets through them resale - but you'd need to join her discord server and keep looking.

I was lucky and got 2 lots of 2
So I sold my first set for the base price I paid - as my 2nd set were better seats.

The amount of scams that are around it really isn't worth it.

Glad you found out before you paid any money.

Funkyslippers · 22/01/2024 15:21

FastAndLast that's exactly the kind of post that I responded to. At the end of the day, the scammers are getting clever and they know they will get people to part with their money

This FB hacked scam was on Rip off Britain recently with TS tickets - someone fell for it and sent money. You probably can find it still on iplayer

Fluffycloudsfloatinginthesky · 22/01/2024 15:42

Is it definately them and not a fb post from a hacked account?

NewYear24 · 22/01/2024 15:43

Those tickets sound too cheap.

Fluffycloudsfloatinginthesky · 22/01/2024 15:43
