Which car would you go for?

I hate driving, and am not into cars at all. Like, if I won the lottery I wouldn’t rush out and buy a fancy car. I barely drive and that’s made my confidence even less.

But I’m going to have to drive. The school my DD will be going to next year isn’t on a very easy public transport route and will be so much quicker driving. DH and I both WFH so I’m not concerned about committing to this but it’s too much for DH to do 10 trips a week, so we’re going to split it.

Our current car is ‘up’ this summer, it doesn’t have any bells and whistles.

DH convinced me we should get a Tesla, because of self parking and a whole lot of other things he thinks would build my confidence to drive… I started to get quite excited about it but realised a dog can’t go in the boot, so that’s out.

Is there a car that’s a good size for 5 people and a big muddy dog that has these kinds of extras?

I have been googling but thought someone here might have a brilliant suggestion for me!

Thanks in advance if you do!

Volvos of all kinds fit dogs and have rear parking cameras.

If you want electric the best family car out there IMO for space including a decent sized dog is a Skoda Enyaq
