Ski Sunday - what has become of ski jumping ?

I haven't seen ski jumping on the programme for what seems like decades which is a pity. As it stands, SS isn't as good as it was in the David Vine days. There's too much waffle and not enough action and obviously no ski jumping. It seems to have been elbowed out by snowboarding and giant slalom.

I'm no expert on winter sports but I wonder if ski jumping just isn't that popular now, or perhaps the BBC doesn't have the necessary broadcasting rights.

Eurosport has ski jumping every weekend. Also other winter sports like biathlon and cross country skiing - I’m a big fan of these. Awesome athletes.

I used to love watching the ski jumping. It's a shame it's not on Ski Sunday anymore.

Ski Sunday is rubbish these days. Too much chat and very little action. Why no bob sleigh, skeleton etc? I know Eurosport have the ski jumping and other Nordic events, but surely they aren’t very expensive to show.

Best thing about Ski Sunday.
The theme tune
I loved it when I was young but it wasn't as exciting when I last watched it. Too much talk.

Seems that ski jumping is with Eurosport then. I note we're largely in agreement about the dire state of Ski Sunday these days. I can't stick snowboarding either!
