Can I cut 8.5cm off each side of a 60cm Venetian blind (Dunelm)?

These ones
https://www.dunelm.com/product/white-25mm-slats-venetian-blind-1000151603?defaultSkuId=30656835&blindSize=W+90cm+%2835%22%29+x+D+120cm+%2847%22%29

I'm buying the ones that are 60cm wide but my window is only 43cm wide so I will need to trim them.
The website doesn't say how much you can trim them but presumably there is a limit where the string that supports the blind is

I want to order online rather than have to go to the shop.

TIA

When I went to Dunelm earlier this month and priced up off the shelf blinds compared to made to measure it was only £70 more for the made to measure over the whole order for 6 blinds.

Order made to measure from blinds 2 go.

The supporting strings do look quite far in, the issue would be for the winder and pull up strings either side

I had to shorten mine and it came right in to the pull up cords...so I cant really use them but not bothered

I think you would have to go and look at them or possibly return if not right.

If you do shorten them, get a blind cutter as it makes ot easier and gives a nice finish

We have non standard window sizes and have used a number of made to measure blind companies, across a range of prices:

For budget options we found blinds to go to be pretty good, and inline with prices for ready made from Dunelm and similar.

Wow, I would never have thought of that! Thank you.
Made to measure works out at £7 extra per blind which I'm happy to pay to avoid the hassle of trimming width and height!

@KateyCuckoo Thanks. BlindsToGo are £1 cheaper than Dunelm but will probably go with Dunelm as they have a physical store fairly close to me

Ah OK, was just going off your op where you said you'd prefer to order online vs going to the shop.
