What do you dream about?

I have the most bizarre illogical dreams.

Recently we got kidnapped off a (strange) train and sent to live in a world set up to look like ours but was uber controlled and not quite the same.

I never dream about my immediate family and it's very rare I dream of wider family or people I know. If I do my mum will not be who my mum is in real life and the same applies to anyone I know who I dream of. It's them, but not the actual them.

I rarely dream about every day situations. Sometimes I know I'm dreaming, especially in the naked in public one!

My husband says he mainly dreams about zombies and sex!

Anyway it got me wondering what other people dream about?

I've started dreaming every night the last few months, no idea why.

My dreams are very random but always seem to have a different intense emotion attached each night. Frustration, desire, jealousy, anger, joy, fear. It's all there. When I wake I remember everything clear as day and the feeling lingers for an hour or so then just fades away. and very soon I can't remember anything at all.

Years and years ago I'd write the jist of the dream down when I woke up and when I look back as those notes I remember those dreams really vividly. The rest I forget.
Our brains are so strange!

Often I have the ability to fly but for some reason it isn't working properly and I just can't maintain any height.
Or I'm trying to defend someone but my punches are so soft and feeble.
Or I have a blazing row with my parents, usually it's very out of the blue and very angry. Massive betrayal from them which makes me never want to see them again (we're very close irl!)

Recently though it's been about going back to places I used to work and having to do a shift or a contract for them and forgetting how to do it.

Never actually dream about DH or DS. They are often there (as in I refer to them) but never see them. Like they're just not in that scene

I dream so much of this: blazing rows with my Mum and vowing I'll never speak to her again; doing a shift at a job from 20yrs ago and being useless; flying but bumping along a foot above the ground and not being able to gain height.

I also dream the extra rooms in my house dream and sitting an exam I haven't revised for or attended a single lesson. Or performing in a play and not knowing a single line.
