Cost of living payment

I have received all cost of living payments to date. Due to a work bonus I received a nil award for my UC payment 12/11/23-11/12/23. The qualifying period for the Spring 24 award is 13/11/23-12/12/23. My next UC payment is 12/12/23-11/01/24.

my question is will I receive the Spring 24 award if I received UC for just 1 day of the Qualifying period or do you have needed to be eligible for the whole of the Qualifying period. Hope this makes sense. Help would be appreciated.

You need to have received a UC payment between the dates of 13/11/23 to 12/12/23, so no I don't think you would qualify as your payment between those dates was nil.

Thank you for your response. I was entitled to UC benefit on 12/12/23 which is the last day of the COL qualifying period. Although is just 1 day would that mean I would not be eligible for the payment. Many thanks

Did you get a UC payment between 13/11/23 and 12/12/23 ? If so you will get the col payment.

It’s about when you actually get a payment rather than eligibility. If your payment periods run 12th to 11th then you probably got paid UC after the 12th November so would get the COL payment?
