Moorcroft? Why do they keep calling me and who are they?

Hi, hoping someone here recognised the name as they've left random automated messages on my voicemail for the last 2 weeks. I've never heard of them and when I google it seems to suggest they are a debt recovery firm? I certainly don't owe any money and am quite comfortably off so have never needed a loan.

Is this a scam? I am ignoring it as I suspect it is and don't want to give them any further information about me, let alone have to pay for a call to them.

Sorry but I'd just block the number. If things have got to such a stage that debt recovery firms are needed, you would be well aware of what it was about. If you know you're not in debt and you're not chasing somebody to pay a debt then just ignore it.

They'll write to you if you are their intended recipient.

There is some sort of phone scam thing where scammers can look as if they're calling from a legitimate number. I got one recently from a local number and when I answered, it was an automated thing about problems with my BT internet.

If you're that bothered, write to moorcroft at their registered address and tell them you believe you are getting spammed by someone using their number.
