Recommendations for to do list apps

I am looking for a to do list app that...

• preferably no subscription (one time fee fine)
• you can organise tasks into projects / break projects down into tasks
• have several different lists but easily move tasks into your current focus ongoing to do list
• reorder the priority of tasks in a list
• set tasks to reoccur once a month / year etc

Have you looked at 'Don't forget the milk'? I used this year's ago.

I'm trying to make the Google apps work - task list calendar etc. Not winning at the moment but haven't had time to look into it.

Cozi ticks most of these boxes but you'd need to pay for the premium. I use the free version plus reminders and notes on iPhone ?

I've just started to use AnyDo. I have similar criteria. There are subtasks with individual reminders and a place to add text based notes. Can be used and synced on both mobile devices and a web browser.

'Microsoft To do' is really good in my opinion
