New childcare funding- how do I register?

DD is eligible for the 15 hours funding starting in April. Does anyone know how I apply for this? Or do I wait for my re-confirmation window for our tax free childcare and it will ask me in that?

I already have a child who receives 30 hours free and the code just appeared on my account but nothing has popped up for the one eligible for 15 hours in April

It's quite unclear how this gets applied but maybe I'm missing something!

I believe it will align with your TFC so when you reconfirm that, your 2 year old code should be generated too.

Yes. It'll add the application onto your reconfirmation form automatically.

I discovered this by accident when reconfirming - it's not made clear anywhere.

I've been told to wait for the reconfirmation window when doing the TFC and it will automatically generate a code. I can't reconfirm until mid Feb though 😤

Why the stress?

Everyone just needs to chill about this! I've had one parent ask me every week about the funding, she can't understand I know nothing more and can do nothing just yet. We are currently sorting the actuals for the current term (spring), portal for the summer term claims isn't open for weeks and weeks yet.

Ahhh that's good to know. My reconfirm window is in a few weeks so I guess it'll appear then
