What's your favourite fabric softener for drying indoors?

I use ecover but I think I need something a bit more smelly to combat the dried indoors smell. Any favourites?

Definitely Fairy Outdoorable!

Not what you asked for at all, sorry! but I've found that using a proper dehumidifier (we have a meaco) gives that fresh, dried outdoors smell naturally as it blows air through the clothes, and it has the bonus of freshening your whole house as well. If you can, I'd recommend that over any cover up smells.

I don’t use any fabric softener, however the stuff is to be dried. I d9 t see the point in it.

this x100! we have a dehumidifier this winter for the first time ever and it is AMAZING. we use cloth nappies and have 2 little ones and a sporty DH so we have mountain's of washing! the dehumidifier makes short work of it all and it smells fresh as pp said.

also I love the smol capsules then you don't need a fabric softener as they smell so good. you can always get some sort of heavily reduced trial with smol too.

willowstar · 19/01/2024 23:22

The blue Lenor. Also agree that dehumidifier is a great way to aid drying inside though it works best if in a warmish room.

HollyJollyRobin · 19/01/2024 23:24

Fairy! And agree with the others about a dehumidifier- first time using one this winter, and it's been brilliant!

ouch321 · 19/01/2024 23:27

Currently I'm using standard blue Lenor and Unstoppables scent booster.

However, a few days ago in the supermarket when it was quiet, like a weirdo, I stopped and smelled all the diffefrent fabric conditioners and the scent boosters.

The Lenor Gold one stood out for me and that's going to be my next purchase.

Fairy Outdoorables

I usually use Fairy and this scent was on offer so I bought it. I didn't before as it wasn't on offer and the ad annoyed me, but it is gorgeous! I have an airer upstairs and I can smell my washing from the living room! It's not strong, just really fresh smelling.

qotsa · 31/01/2024 17:31

As other PPs recommend 👍🏻....I have been using a dehumidifier for years. I have recently replaced my old one that I bought from Screwfix. I got the same one and it had only increased by £10 and the previous one lasted ten years so I would thoroughly recommend. Does exactly the same job as the expensive ones. Is only £129.99. 👌🏽 oh. And Fairy Outdoorables too as my DS need non bio and sensitive stuff.

qotsa · 31/01/2024 17:31

Also I have checked the cost PH and it's 5p.

uncomfortablydumb53 · 31/01/2024 17:53

@longtompot
Glad you like it! I've never paid full price as it's usually on offer somewhere
