Has anyone done this and been successful?
We live in a village and in a cul de sac of 5.
We are a 2 bed semi detached bungalow.
Our semi neighbours are the same.
Next house is a 2 bed detached bungalow.
Next is a 3 bed detached house.
Last is a 4 bed detached bungalow.
Us, our semi detached neighbour and the detached bungalow owners are all band D currently. The others are band F.
I looked at the Councils bandings which show that Band D property prices in 1991 were between £45000 and £58000 however, an online calculator (Nationwide Building Society) shows my house estimate in 1991 was £40,317 so a band C.
Is it this simple to ask the council to look at my banding?
