Tips for a great house stay

We’ve got visitors coming to stay in a few weeks and I was wondering what thoughtful things a host has done for you to make your stay in their home more enjoyable? TIA!

Flowers, magazines and an extra blanket in the room
Being asked in advance about allergies, intolerances and preferred breakfast cereal!
Being shown where the kettle, tea, coffee and milk is so that I can make a hot drink any time.

A mattress that doesn't have springs poking into you. Being shown, if not obvious, how to cool/warm my bedroom (everyone is so different what temperature they like).
