Have you been sterilised?

I had the sterilisation with clips in early December and have generally recovered well, but I’m still finding myself really windy and crampy, especially if I need the toilet! Anyone else who has had this done, is this normal?! Googling only tends to show that immediate recovery period of time, not a month or so in!

yes but decades ago so memory is a bit hazy, but it took me ages to recover properly about a month to feel normal. I had achy stomach pains.

if you don't feel right definitely get checked out.

Yes I had it done though 8 years ago now. I’m sorry I don’t remember how long it took but it didn’t last forever so will get better soon.

I had mine done in sept 2021 it took 3 months for a full recovery for me. The wind and stomach pains were awful. Now I have painful heavy periods 🤦🏻‍♀️

Yes I had it done 6 years ago. The only side effect I can think of which might not even be connected is that my periods have gone much heavier and more painful since having it done.
