I'll admit i use jars for things like chilli con carne, pasta sauces etc. Due to time restraints.
However i now have 1 day a week where i can prepare things like sauces to just freeze, then on the morning defrost to throw into pasta or something.

So can I have your recipes.
Some with a bit of spice, not a lot.

Some without and no ' chunks' my dc will eat fruit veg etc in its own form but the min its added to a sauce or similar ' its yukky'

Also best ways to freeze it, containers /bags.

Soften chopped onion in oil, with garlic if you like it, add sliced courgettes, some sliced aubergine if you like it, mushrooms . When all cooked through add a can of chopped tomatoes, a bit of tomato purée and then whizz the lot in a blender. Makes a nice pasta sauce with lots of hidden veg.
Freezes well in any container.

If you usually buy the fresh plastic pot sauces - save those their good for freezing.
Alternatively depending on your freezer space I find smaller zip lock type bags work well so they can lay flat and take up less space.

I'd love to find a white/cheese sauce that successfully freezes. My usual gets a bit watery on defrost!

Have a look at Jamie Oliver’s 7 veg sauce
It freezes well - easy and cheap
I do the roasted veg version and use for lasagne/spag Bol etc
