Question for Flight Radar fans!

Hello.
I am a nervous flyer and am trying to steal myself to book a flight to Nice, but after the recent Flight Radar chat about flights having to go around in Madeira, I have got myself worried. I know it's safe but I would just hate to get so close to landing and then be off up into the air again! I tried to find info online and it looks like Nice can suffer from sudden gusts of wind, but I couldn't find out much more (just the 2 threads linked below). I wondered if any Flight Radar experts have noticed Nice suffering a lot with go-arounds?
Thank you!

Check out videos on you tube and see what comes up?

Very rare

And, although not nervous, pilots are more risk averse than you are. They know it's safe and want to keep it that way. They land planes many, many times a year.

I am a nervous car passenger but am very rarely nervous with a bus driver - even though they may sometimes drive in ways I don't and wouldn't - because they are professional. They drive/pilot to ALL the prevailing conditions, not just reacting to immediate situations, they have many many hours of safe practice and they know what they are doing.

As above, check out videos on YouTube about fear of flying in general .

I have no idea about go arounds at Nice but on the whole they aren't that common

Thank you for the replies. All food for thought. I have tried to work on this fear of flying and I am getting there, but the idea of a go-around still gives me the heebie-jeebies!
