I am planning to install Ikea Pax wardrobes. The tallest version is 236cm in height but the room height is 280cm (9' 2").
I am aware that additional units on top may cause the unit to buckle and I've seen a hack online which is to build the wardrobe on top of base units. Would the base units then buckle?
Off to Ikea later this week with my basic online wardrobe plan and will consult the planner in person but would like to be armed with knowledge before I set off.
Has anyone extended the height of a Pax to this height?
