ALWAYS had trouble with clingfilm dispenser in kitchen - the film wouldn't rip cleanly/would shred etc. After TWENTY years - I ripped it the OPPOSITE way & it worked like magic. Had to tell someone - not ONE person irl is remotely interested, and probably not on here either. (Feel better now)

Okay. Telll me more. Which way exactly.

It was simply ripping it the opposite way to all the other thousands of times I'd ever done it! I mean, 20 years in this house with that dispenser - and suddenly, Eureka!!

Like I said "daft" - but significant in decades of cooking/covering food
