A gift for myself

Looking to buy myself something, no idea on budget.

Recently have bought new laptop and already have a decent tablet.
Recently got a new air fryer and coffee machine for Christmas too.

I'm quiet into fitness and self care in the way of beauty as such but already have
Trampoline
Exercise bike
Weights
Hoop
Resistant bands
Pull up bar
Foot spa
Facial steamer

I'm not someone who does experience days or someone who like to get spa treatment etc

What do I need or want?

If you buy what you need it's better for your pocket, the planet and your mental health

Trying to find things to want to buy is so ... unhealthy

I’m not really into stuff so I’d book myself a holiday.

KnickerlessParsons · 15/01/2024 17:56

I'd wait until you need something and then buy it for yourself.

Smart watch
Air pod pros
Tickets to a show
Neom Pod diffuser
New swimming bag

I'd treat myself to a week's all inclusive holiday in the sun. Perfect cure for the winter blues.

I don't understand the mission!

sciencemama · 15/01/2024 18:59

Ok budget is silly. So I don't want a holiday it's not my kind of thing at all. I want something for myself as such as I'm always buying things that benefit everyone else in my family...
I suppose my budget would really be a couple of hundred at most

Just wait until something crops up you really want!

Hedonism · 15/01/2024 20:46

I would buy some cashmere socks, and/or a beautiful soft warm scarf, mainly because I'm feeling a bit chilly this evening.

Either that or I would gift myself an hour on my own in a coffee shop with a latte and a book.

Thing is though, if you don't know that you need or want something then you probably... don't.

I got myself a Kitchen aid mixer. Looks lovely and is really useful for mixing bread dough as well as cakes etc Should last for years. Perhaps you’d find one useful.

OhMehGoddess · 15/01/2024 20:59

An exercise stepper to add to your collection.

DisruptiveCumin · 16/01/2024 13:06

Gym membership then? A stepper or a treadmill could be great options, too.
Also maybe take a look at your other hobbies, maybe there is something else you'd like to try?

You can also look into software, there are plenty of photo restoration programs, slideshow makers or iMovie equivalents for Windows if you do video editing, etc. Maybe there are laptop accessories that you need/want, like a high-end mouse or a good laptop bag.

Something for your house could be an option, there are color changing lamps and air humidifiers, so look into that direction as well.

Semi permanent makeup?

(I’m getting my eyeliner tattooed as a gift to myself for my birthday)
