Knee pain

I squatted down yesterday to get something for my child and felt my left knee pop at the front towards the right hand side. It hurt as soon as it happened and as the day went on it was getting more painful but I just assumed I would be better this morning.

Woke up today and it's just as bad if not worse and I no longer have full range of movement. It's excruciating to bend past 90 degrees and to straighten it fully also it feels a little unstable.

I'm assuming GP can't do anything would physio be my best bet?

The GP will likely tell you to take over the counter pain relief and self refer to Physio - which you can do (in UK) without a GP appointment

Physio all the way. (I say that as a GP with knee pain)

I'll get the physio referral sorted today thank you.
