Were heading to Amsterdam next weekend for a girlie hen 🎉

We have a boat trip and a comedy night booked but struggling to find cheesy/ dancefloor bars and clubs

Anyone have any recommendations or any other must sees please!?

Lots of cheesy bars and stuff on Rembrandtplein, if that's what you're looking for.
De Hallen is great for brunch, huge choice of world food and lively.
The thing is, Amsterdamers generally have had it up to here with raucous stag/hen trippers so maybe curb your enthusiasm 😉
It's a beautiful city, you'll have a great time.

My advice watch your wallets, so many pick pockets just waiting to grab. They will create a distraction and be away in no time.

I'll never understand why people choose to go to historic, architecturally beautiful and culturally rich cities in search of cheesy bars and nightclubs. Amsterdam is ruined by drunken stags and hens - not that I'm suggesting OP or her group will be drunk and/or behaving badly.

Have you thought about... The Rijksmuseum, Van Gogh museum, Anne Frank House, a bicycle tour, the zoo...?

Thank you!

I assure you we are not intending to go to ransack the city and vomit in the canal 😁

We are a more mature group of hens who selected Amsterdam so we could have a mixture of culture and fun.

We have a bike ride, Anne Frank visit and comedy night all booked, just looking to also find somewhere for a drink and maybe a dance to some music that also has some words ☺️

I have been to lots of cultural and historic cities where people still enjoy a night out (whilst being respectful)

Thanks for the suggestions @Mylovelycow - much appreciated

Haarlem on the Saturday for the market, the herring and eel are lovely, you can have them in a roll. It's under half an hour away.

I went on an all you can eat pancake boat trip when I was last there. Was a brilliant hangover cure.

House of Bols, near the Van Gogh Museum - sort of a museum of the Bols drinks then a cocktail bar at the end - fun and pretty cheap.
