What are these on my face?

These lumps keep coming up on my face.

They are incredibly painful to the touch.
They're not spots. There is nothing inside them.

I think what happens is after they have swollen my skin splits. After a couple of weeks they just disappear and then reappear weeks later.

Econsult done for doctors but still waiting to hear from them.

Could it be rosacea?

Looks like acne roseacea to me. I had it. I got some acne cream from my GP (that bleached my pillows!!) and eventually they cleared up. I’ve got quite nice skin now except get red flare ups, but no spots.
