Comfort food - what's your favorite?

We just had tomato soup (home made) with cheesy crusty bread, simple food but so comforting! It really hit the spot for lunch

Yes to buttery peanut butter on toast and we call the slices plastic cheese also

m&S best ever lasagna with peas and cheesy garlic flatbread. Or bacon sandwich with white bread and brown sauce. Also those raspberry iced finger buns from m&s

I get thinly sliced turkey, smoked ham, cheese, salad, gherkins, hot peppers, olives and chop it all up on a board, mix with mayo / olive oil and dried Italian herbs and eat it in a bowl.

Are almond nuts different from almonds?

Gnocchi fried in butter with parmesan cheese and diced fresh tomato stirred in, with salt and pepper. Always crave this if I am recovering from illness.

If I have been out in dreadful weather I love a hot chocolate and buttered crumpets with marmite.

Jacket potatoes with a little salt, butter, cheddar.
Sever with sad and Tuna mayonnaise.

Marmite pasta. Relatively new discovery, totally delicious. Until I found this, it was cheese on toast with worcestershire sauce.
