Anyone got a really nice laundry airer?

The pulley kind? I tried to buy one online and had to send it back as it was too flimsy. If anyone has a good quality one, please let me know where you got it?

I would also like to know about pulley maid airers!

DMIL has a very old one - the slats have died a few times so she replaced them with aluminium tubes about a decade ago, and she replaces the rope through the local marine chandlers every couple of years (better than farmers nylon ones from the agricultural co-op).

What's really important is the 2 sets of bars with the holes for the slats - the rest you can retrofit with decent replacements.

Cheers @BiddyPop Wonder if vintage is a good idea. My parents have one that has lasted decades.

Ours is about 70 years old still in regular use
