I'm making dinner for my two friends and their 6 year old. I'm not a super confident cook and it's for after we've moved some furniture out so it would be best if it's quick or something i can prepare in advance. Help please! I have a slow cooker and oven and air fryer and hob.

Do you have to cook? Can you not heat up some nice pizzas / garlic bread in the oven. Have a nice salad made up in the fridge? That’s quick and you don’t have to worry about cooking something if you aren’t confident?

I'd ask what the 6 year old likes to be honest. Something quick and easy like pesto pasta or spaghetti bolognese which can be served separately if they are fussy like mine?

To be honest if the 6yo is like 2 of my kids you might be better with pizza/cocktail sausages, definitely message and ask, my friend once gave out that her niece and nephew turned their nose up at some intricate meal she made, and the mum had to go out and buy waffles and fish fingers.

I asked and she said all meat, pasta, potatoes and rice
