Just curious (and yes, nosey) about someone I know. I don't know the club, but the website does say it's a gay club.

I would likely think they’re gay but having said that I’ve been to gay bars and clubs with gay friends. It depends on who it was really.

nah it’s a gay club but loads of people are regulars there regardless of orientation.

No I wouldn't assume they were gay, especially if they were attending with friends. It's just a club that is gay-friendly, it's not like they ask you to prove your sexuality when you arrive.

I used to be a regular there, as in, every Thursday and Friday night for years. I never considered myself gay 😊

I know loads of straight men who go there.

very common for the Westminster/whitehall young crowd as it’s a big cheap nightclub close-by which is buzzing on a Thursday night.

But generally there will be a big group, with a gay guy or some women attending too.

i wouldn’t say it’s common for a non-gay guy to go there on his own for a dance and a drink

I wouldn't presume to judge someone's sexual orientation at all really, but if I did, it wouldn't be based on which club they went to

Mr Monkey and his friend used to go to Heaven all the time when they were younger - and they are definitely not gay (a gay friend of ours calls Mr Monkey "offensively heterosexual" 🤣).

I have also been a fair few times to club nights and gigs - also not gay.

Heaven has a brilliant sound system, mainly very chilled crowd and back in the day really good house and disco nights. A lot of straight dance music fans went.

But it is definitely a gay club.

My dd aged 20 and all her friends from university go regularly. She is bi and it’s a big group of them - some non binary, 3 trans, some straight, some gay. They all just have a great time and say it’s one of the best clubs to go to.
