What are the chances of a lucky dip lotto ticket having all 6 numbers in the 50s? Today is the 13th as well! If I win, I'll come back and update you all🤣

I’m no statistician but I think the chances of that are the same as the chance of any other random mix of numbers, it’s just our brain tells us it would be less likely!

Same chance as any other combination. It makes you realise how unlikely you are to win when you realise that. 😬

I mean, my default setting is that I don't do the lottery, and on the rare occasion when I do, I tell myself I've wasted my money as I clearly have no chance of winning. This time I have an extra dollop of 'no chance' on top. @user69371527 that makes perfect sense. The human brain can be very strange when it comes to number logic.
