I am just wondering if anyone else has had the same experience, my premature baby has really struggled to bring up her wind since she was first born so when we came home the GP told us it was silent reflux, she was prescribed gaviscon.
Since she has continuously been bringing up mucus which isn’t green, it’s thick and white and looks as if it’s her milk. I have been back and forth to the GP and was told it’s just a cold, now after 5 weeks they have said she has severe acid reflux and prescribed omeprazole. Due to her being prem she is under a dietitian and there is a concern that feeding her little feeds more often will be a factor in her maybe not gaining as much weight as she can. She isn’t demand fed but does have big bottles for her weight.
Has anyone else had similar issues and if so is there anything you have found to help? Thankyou
