21st Birthday Gift Ideas

Hello - I am looking to spend up to around £40 on a 21st Birthday gift for a boy and struggling for ideas other than vouchers.
He's into football, supports a big team. Likes the gym, but we bought a sports top for Xmas.

He's a student, 3rd year, in a student house.
Not a big drinker so not keen to buy booze really.
Any ideas would be appreciated!
Thanks.

Reusable water bottle: Chillis with the straw attachment or Stanley cup (has to be a special brand or no point)

Decent pair of comfy tracksuit bottoms (gymshark/nike) or pyjama bottoms (calvin klein) for lounging around?

Don't stress about it being something 'special'. 21 year old boys don't want keepsakes and special things. Particularly with a budget of under 50. He'll probably get about 5 leather wallets and watches he doesn't want this year.

@getofftheplane thank you - we've already bought him a Chilli's coffee cup and I saw him still using it when we visited at Christmas and he has the water bottle too! Great ideas though.

Track Suit bottoms are a great idea though as I know he likes them for lounging around and we've not bought those before.

@getofftheplane yes good point. I just want something nice for him but wouldn't be appropriate to spend more so you're right, just something he will like and enjoy!

I know as I have got older (20 now) that I would much rather a gift voucher rather than actual presents as these are so much easier, especially as this can be saved of an activity which they are looking to do but perhaps don't have the money to spare being at University. A gift voucher for clothes or towards a meal out are always greatly received! Your time is worth more than any gift so remember when you go to purchase - perhaps a family dinner will hold more memories?
