Pregnancy at work advice

What would you do?

I'm on a FTC and have been promised a permanent contract once it ends but that's not for a couple months. I am 2 months pregnant.

Would you tell them you're pregnant? I'm struggling with my symptoms and have been advised to go to the hospital due to sickness likely being HG.

I don't want to miss out on the permanent contract due to the baby.

Tricky but if possible I'd try and hold out. Even if you need to take some sick leave I think that would be better right now than announcing a pregnancy - on a temp contract your haven't any security and they have no legal ties to keep you on

Waiting 2m when 2m pregnant isn't a lot - most wouldn't announce a pregnancy at work until earliest 3 months pregnant so you aren't too far out of you wait and tell them at 4/5 months pregnant once the bigger decisions have been made

@lavagal thank you, I'll try solider on. I'm so concerned as it starts to brighten up and I drop the jumpers, it'll be noticeable!
