Selling on FB marketplace payment issues

Does anyone else have problems when they sell household items locally that everyone wants to pay via PayPal even though it’s cash on collection?
I’m wary of PayPal for an item that is collected and the whole chargeback thing where someone can say they haven’t received the item.
My advert clearly states cash on collection and twice today I’ve had pressure to accept PayPal each time with some issue each time with a relatives bank account therefore can’t pay in cash.

The item is big and has to be collected therefore I don’t see a problem with paying when the come to collect.
Am I missing something here?

Stick to cash

If they are pressuring you it's probably a scam. I'm having lots more scammers on marketplace, either PayPal or courier

They are scammers. Cash only on collection

I often ask if I can pay by PayPal or bank transfer- without any pressure- because it's annoying to have to get £10 cash from a cash machine and rely on the seller having change... it just turns it into a time consuming faff.
Fair enough if you don't want to take PayPal or bank transfer- just state 'no paypal/bank transfers' in the listing rather than cash on collection but as someone who often pays via PayPal or bank transfer for marketplace items I can assure you it's not always a scam!
