Weird virus going around?

Since the weekend I’ve had this really unpleasant inflammation pain in my lower jaw / upper sides of neck / throat - almost like my glands are up, but the pain is sort of spread around the area. I’ve also got a dry throat but it’s not sore if that makes sense. Feel a bit fatigued but not awful and no other symptoms (barring the usual peri-menopause hell). Anyone got similar or is this just another symptom of failing hormones!?

Wondering if it’s perhaps some odd virus doing the rounds (in SE England).. Anyone else?

Has anyone managed to completely shift this yet? I'm over 4 weeks on and I still have a dry hoarse feeling in my throat and my glands are still (mildly) up! I've had a swab from the GP and a blood test and they've said dunno, all is fine 🙄

I’ve had a sore throat now for nearly 4 weeks, glands are up on one sides seems to come & go. Hurts when I swallow abit like tonsilitus but it’s not my tonsils it’s the bit infront. I don’t know what’s going on

Same. Kids have all got it as well

I've got a weird ache around the outside/in front of my ear and down my neck. All so strange.
