I made quite a mild paneer and mushroom and spinach curry yesterday for dinner this evening, but don't fancy rice. What else do you serve curry with?

Chips!

TeeBee · 09/01/2024 16:03

Chapati. Very easy to make.

SausageRoll2020 · 09/01/2024 16:06

Naan seems the obvious option here

CornishPorsche · 09/01/2024 16:08

Daal and Naan or chapati here.

Aquamarine1029 · 09/01/2024 16:08

Vegetable noodles.

therealcookiemonster · 09/01/2024 16:12

naan is best with saag paneer. you can make at home or pick up a pack from supermarket.

please don't serve with noodles or chips!

a bit of greek yoghurt or raita on the side adds extra levels of flavour

anothernamechangeagainsndagain · 09/01/2024 16:12

Chapattis

Jingleeaster · 09/01/2024 16:16

Jacket potato

TaffyandTeenyTaffy · 09/01/2024 16:17

Roasted spiced cauliflower, bombay potatoes, tomato/cucumber/onion/coriander salad or on a jacket potato. Or Cauliflower/broccoli rice as an alternative to rice?

blacksax · 09/01/2024 16:17

If you want something different - wedges or jacket potatoes?

There's no law against potatoes with curry.

tobee · 09/01/2024 16:19

Add potatoes and make it an aloo

Kryten1958 · 09/01/2024 16:22

Chapatis and whisky.

toastofthetown · 09/01/2024 16:23

Parathas? Can get them in the freezer aisle and much nicer than supermarket naan. Naan is also fairly simple to make, and you probably have enough time for the rise before you eating.

And outwith of bread, I made these masala oven chips last week, and they were wonderful.

closingdownsale · 09/01/2024 16:24

Chips, bread and butter! Then I make a multivitamin for the work of a hero afterwards

BrieAndChilli · 09/01/2024 16:35

naan
chips
chuck some pastry on top to make a pie
mashed potato - again made into a pie
jacket potato
couscous
loads of veg

Merrimentandsparkle · 09/01/2024 16:40

I love veggies with curry!

Scampuss · 09/01/2024 16:46

Home made (GF) naan for me.

I second the paratha suggestion. I always have packs of them in the freezer and they take a couple of minutes to cook in a dry pan. So much nicer than naan from the supermarket.

Toomuch44 · 09/01/2024 16:53

I'd go for naan bread

Thestruggler · 09/01/2024 16:55

Coriander naan

ranoutofquinoaandprosecco · 09/01/2024 16:55

I love it with just poppadums and dips and then some broken up samosas on top as well!

Caspianberg · 09/01/2024 16:58
