Not intentional? seriously? like poor innocent Ed Davey, lied to and led astray by those evil evil Post Office employees.

Doesn't wash. If she's that bloody stupid then she's no business being in a job with that much power if she couldn't think for herself.

We’re getting crossed wires @MrsDanversGlidesAgain I meant it wasn’t intentional if I implied that she doesn’t bear any responsibility. Of course she does! Either I’m not writing my posts properly or you’re not reading them properly but I agree with you. There’s no need to get irate with me for just saying there are other people responsible for this mess, not only her.

What do you think of Tory Minister Peter Liley who introduced Horizon in 1994/95, as means to stop fraud both benefit and what was at the time considered (by the PO/Govt) to be stealing by the sub post masters?

But of course ministers inc CEOs are not IT software developers, they have to go on what they are told bu so called experts or do you code your Microsoft 365 to iron out any bugs?

Ultimately this seems like a massive cover up by Fujitsu and the post office not delving too deep into the cover up for fear of the money it would cost and the damage to their reputation. It was easier and beneficial to the post office to believe what Fujitsu were telling them that Horizon was working fine and sub postmasters were fiddling the accounts and stealing money.

I have no idea what you're talking about.

Agree. Whatever Fujitsu said, it was beyond belief for the post office to lie and say each of the hundreds of postmasters were the only ones affected and then prosecute them. A contract that cost that much money should have meant the post office demanding that it worked, and a possible termination. Not an extension.
