seems like the house opposite us seems to be attracting the most attraction but what the truth is is anyone's guess! is there anything similar in your neighborhood?
The house has had a man living there for some time It is clear he has MH issues and has an alcohol addiction. For more years than we can remember there were some very grim curtains hanging in the window kept closed then all of a sudden a skip arrived and a lot of guys in hazard suits were in there with sprays and clearing out the house.
so far these are the reasons why the house is being stripped;
landlord has repossessed the house supposedly man has passed away
man went away for Christmas and is not coming back
burst boiler so the house had to be emptied
man owned house had bowel cancer and died
Whatever it's been very grim what has come out of the house including a skip full of beer bottles! do all neighborhoods have this speculation?

It sounds fairly normal, I would guess the man died, but in my road someone would actually know the answer.

There is a house a bit further away from me like the one you describe. Ragged curtains in the windows and only a faint flickering light at night. The rotting window frames were replaced a few years ago and someone keeps the hedge trimmed, though, so I think someone has their eye on the inhabitant.

Edit: I mean the speculation is normal not the way the man was living.
