Hey, just wanted to put on here how nice it is people talking and helping others out on here. I'm really glad I found this website few weeks ago. Makes me feel less alone. Very thankful for the advice people have gave me.

Really? Wow, well I'm new here so haven't experienced that yet. Hopefully I won't too soon. But don't listen to negative people, it's their loss.x🤗🤗

Frustrated with commute to London and need some advice - I am paying a massive amount on monthly season tickets, but my ticket hardly ever gets checked. How on earth do they know that I am not exceeding my allocated number of visits?

I can recommend the Dyson wash g1 for hard floors. It’s not cheap but it’s easy to use and is very efficient. The first few times we used it we were shocked by the amount of dirt it pulled out of our floors but they are getting cleaner every day. We have a busy house with kids and 3 dogs but we are so happy that we are now able to clean the floors properly at last.

Beware of the AIBU, it's like the vipers nest. Some wonderful comments but my God some nasty people out there too. Often targeting the OPs.

My very first post was the day I discovered MN and it was a genuine AIBU issue and very personal and i had no one else to ask. Thankfully everyone was nice to me that day and I got some wonderful insights and advice. If the nasties had been around that day it could really have affected me. I always try to be positive here for that reason, you don't know how vulnerable an OP is feeling.

My son is 13 nearly 14.
for the last 13 years his dad has paid me minimal child maintenance. Contact got less and less and effort has never really been there.
I decided to take him to the CSA as my son is getting ever more expensive to support as his grows up.

initially dad wouldn’t engage, the csa contacted me to see if I wanted to go ahead with a collection option I declined hoping dad would do the right thing.
dad has since made several attempts to reduce his payment by claiming he has our son more than 1 night a week and adding travels expenses to the claim, which is also incorrect as we both do one way each.

i now have a new application to the claim in which dad is now saying he has another child he pays maintenance for.. he lives with his wife and 2 other children 1 biological one not. The csa already take into account these children. Dad is now saying he has separated from his wife and has a family based arrangement with her to reduce his costs to me by half. Dad and wife are still very much together living in the same mortgaged home and living as they have for the last however long.
I only collected my son for the address yesterday where all was present.
I’ve raised this with the csa as a fraudulent claim but they have basically said it’s going to be hard to prove he’s lying.
what do I do? I’m at a total loss. Can anyone offer advise as to where I go from here.

please help a desperate mum 🥺
