Was speaking with dp about moving here and he said it wasn’t the nicest of areas, far from our jobs and dc’s nursery and not really that convenient. He also said that it was quite industrial (vs where we live now which is quite leafy zone 2/3). Finally he added that we would be the “only white faces in the area” to which I immediately responded well that doesn’t concern me… He said that it didn’t concern him either but culturally it would be different. We currently live in a multicultural area.
I feel a bit hmm at his comment so wanted to ask whether I am taking it too sensitively.
