Can anyone help me find my ring??

Hi lovely people of MN,

I am sure I have seen a few threads in the past where people have lost something and others can 'sense' (??) where said lost item might be?

Anyway, on the off chance I didn't imagine these threads, at the weekend I lost a silver ring from my little finger, very sentimental as my children gave it to me. I am 99% sure it's in the house but I've searched high and low and can't find it

If there is anyone who could help find it or point me in the direction of the right board to post this on (I did search for posts but couldn't find them - oh the irony) I would be very grateful

My friend did the same with my dc who had lost something small.
Told him almost the same set of directions that you have there and he found the item within 5 minutes after 2 months of no joy and him thinking he'd pulled the house apart.

Check your handbag, my engagement ring once slipped off into mine when I was rootling for something, and I was thrilled to find it a day later after hunting high and low.

Under the sofa or in the bathroom.

I lost mine once when I took it off in the bathroom and it somehow got stuck underneath the window trim- totally invisible. So have a feel around all the seemingly impossible places within the likely places, if that makes sense

Last time I lost a ring I found it in some frozen mince!
I'd portioned some up and it had slid off in the process.
Found it 6 weeks later when I was making lasagne!

I lost my wedding and engagement rings for a few months (can’t remember taking them off!) and found them in the oven of DD’s play kitchen… little magpie.

It's under an envelope.
