Ricky Gervais - Armageddon and Golden Globes

I have watched Armageddon which RG won a golden globe for and am slit on whether he deserved it.

For some some of the humour may have been a little derogatory to disabled people and he made light out if some quite grim behaviour. I see the humour is meant to be dark and one of the points was that the whole show was counter cancel culture but it still me a little uncomfortable laughing (maybe slightly shocked at times?)

What are your thoughts - worthy of a comedy Golden Globe?

I haven't finished watching it yet, normally Ricky gives me the ick but think Armageddon is hilarious. Who else was shortlisted?

Not sure

I laughed a bit. Some places more than others. Do you have to appreciate he is being ultra ironic though and the humour is about taking it to the edge?
