As the title says, I need a bit of help from London savvy MNers.
Going to an event in April which will be held in Lee Valley. Event runs Monday to Friday so looking to do Sunday - Saturday due to transport, timings etc. Me and another female friend going.
Ideally we'd like somewhere near a Tube station, that isn't too far in one direction or the other - we'd like to pop into central London at times when we're not needed at the event as we both love visiting. I'm also visually impaired although can do steps etc so step-free isn't a necessity.
Any suggestions for hotels, areas to look at, areas to avoid etc are all welcome.
