Travel mug, Skoda Octavia

Real first world problem here! Wink

I do a lot of travelling for work and I've got a new car.

My thermal mug (I love it so much I have 3) is a Contigo Byron, and it's too wide for my cup holders.

Can anyone recommend a slimline thermal mug that really keeps drinks warm and doesn't leak?

Found one that fits in the ENYAQ. Moon travel mug on Amazon.

Contigo luxe autoseal, it's the most slender of the contigos , I've got stainless steel so it can go in the dishwasher

Well, it's a no to the Morrison's mug.
The sippy hole is recessed into the rim and you have to tip it up so far to drink that I just dribbles. I do not need hot drinks dribbling down me whilst I'm driving.

Is this a certified recommendation, please? That is to say, have you experimented in a Skoda, or are you just saying that it's a slim model?! Thank you!

We have a winner!!

Ocean Bottle Brew Flask

6.8mm wide - fits in my skinny Skoda cup holders.
Easy to drink from
Stays hot for hours
Not cheap, but has a 10 year warranty.

I'll confess, I already had a Stanley thermal mug which fitted, but it's just not a very good mug.

Thank you for all the Contigo recommendations. I am a big fan of Contigo mugs, but I have check out the dimensions of every one mentioned upthread on their Amazon listings, and they are all wider than the magic 6.8 cm I need.

Oh that's nice, Ibiza! Unfortunately I need ca. 450ml, otherwise it's not a worthwhile cup of tea for me, really. It's harder to find the bigger size now as it's all hipsters drinking miniature coffees in them innit 😁

IbizaToTheNorfolkBroads · 04/03/2024 09:01

@HillyHoney, yes, it is a bit small but they do a 500 ml one too.

This one is narrow enough at the bottom to fit securely in (and is only a tenner).

Different colours available of course. Works well for me - I'd recommend.
