Hospital hand hold

I've been going through Topical Steroid Withdrawal for the last seven months.

The last couple of weeks I've been constantly shaking, chills and thermoregulation issues. Last night it got so bad I called 111 who've sent me into hospital. My resting heart rate is 147 and they won't let me go home, wanting to investigate the HR, high blood pressure, scarlet skin and inexhaustible shaking.

My husband is home with my kids and I'm on my own. Just looking for some company.

Sounds awful. Have they taken bloods as well? I hope you get some rest and answers soon.

Sounds like they are being thorough which is great

No bloods yet. I was seen at Outpatients via 111 and they've now sent me through to A&E for investigation. Not been taken yet.

That sounds hard. I hope you feel better soon and sending you a virtual hug 🤗

Sorry you're going through this. Have seen a few people do it on TikTok. They've come out on the other side amazingly as I'm sure you will too!

Thank you. Look at my legs 😭 the white patches are my healthy skin. The rest is all TSW (I never applied steroids anywhere near my legs)
