Bedtimes?

Just for interest, what time do you go to bed? And whet time do you get up?
I’ve been shocked recently when chatting to a few friends, who all say that they don’t get to bed before midnight and sometimes later (1am) Even though most have to be up 6am or 7am with small children or for work! Is this the norm now?
I’ve always tried to go to bed early 10pm and i used to wake at 5am! However it seems more like 6:30/7 now my dc are sleeping better.

11:30pm. Up at 6.
I don't like going to bed early. The spell post kid's bedtime is the only time I really get to relax.

Got to bed around 11, alarm goes off at 7.40, but we watch YouTube/look through Mumsnet serious news websites before going to sleep

Kids grown but wasn't any different when they were tiny

In bed by 10 unless entertaining. Awake by 5.45/6.00. Tea in bed, read papers online, listen to the news, prepare for the day then up by 7.00.

I'm in a bad way with insomnia at the moment, having several nights with no sleep until 6am then dozing for a couple of hours, hating getting up so late.

Im terrible for going to bed & getting to sleep though anyway.

back to work Tuesday, so going to try really hard to get into a good routine, but if I can't sleep, I can't sleep.

in an ideal world 11-6 would be great.

Go up about 10. Lights out 10.30 or 11 (depends how good my book is!). Alarm goes at 6 on a work day. Usually up by 7.30 naturally on a weekend.

DH happily stays up til 2am, but then struggles to get up at 7am when I leave. He tends to catch up on weekends and sleep til 10.

I could go to bed around 9pm, sleep around 11pm (once I know all my kids are safely home) alarm goes off at 6.30am on week day. Same of a weekend body clock wakes me up but I can "snugglewuggle" back into the duvet!! 😂

Go up around 10, asleep by 11, up at 6 term time.
