Contraception pill, which one to take?

I am currently on levest for a few years I had them for 2 years and then had my son after that I went back on them and it’s 7-8 months I am getting alot of side effects from them like migraines and nausea. I wonder if I should change it what pills have you guys used and have they given you any side effects?

If you are getting migraines then maybe you shouldn't be taking a combined pill. I'd speak to a GP as you might have to change to a non combined method of contraception e.g. mini pill, injection, coil/mirena coil, etc

I was on the pill for 20+ years, and gave me blood clots on my lungs. I do regret taking it now as my health is not what it used to be. Do your research first!

I’ve been on microgynon 30 for 10+ years and not had any side effects or problems. Everyone is different though so you will just have to trial and error to see what suits you best

@dementedpixie Ah right okay, but the other thing is I am looking to get off them in 6 months as we want to try for a second one soon so I am confused weather I should just continue this one and then change after I have my second..

@Coconutter24 that’s what I was thinking of trying a different one but I am confused as I am thinking of getting of the pill in 6 months to try for our second one.. so just wondering if I should stick to this and then try a different one after the second baby

Best one for me and anyone I've told, is microganann. It gave me no side effects, and none to my daughter. And any of my family I told to get it
