Birthday present dilemma

Hi
Its our daughters 16th next month she hasn’t asked for anything and when asked says she doesn’t know or isn’t fussed.
She absolutely loves our trips to Centre Parcs. I’d like to take her away there, as a surprise birthday present however due to GCSEs revision we wouldn’t be be going until after she has sat her GCSEs, and it would mean nothing much happening on her actual birthday next month… do you think it’s viable? Or should I be focusing on doing something on her actual birthday day instead? … what would you do?

The trip sounds lovely and she’s old enough to understand that something exciting is coming even if not a huge fuss is made on her actual birthday.
Just make her favourite dinner at home, a cake (or whatever she enjoys), maybe a couple small pressies for her to open on the day, and let her know that she has a something exciting to look forward to, even if she doesn’t know what that is.

Yes, do something small on the day, and CP’s to look forward to.

Ahh Thanks, I was thinking same.. but having a wobble about the delay and still making her 16th special.
