I work in a regulated industry and our cases when completed are checked.
Due to the nature of work we do no two cases are the same and sometimes can be long and complex and inevitably you sometimes will fail one (even the most experienced staff do).
But when I do I really go hard on myself, think I am no good at the job , that I am a failure and everyone is doing great etc
I always take on board the feedback and make sure I never fail from that again but the feelings of a failure stay with me for a good while.
If you have experience of this how do you tackle occasional failings.
