Royal Mail - returning printer ink

Hi, I purchased genuine printer ink from eBay and tried to install the cartridges, where my printer states the cartridges are not genuine. Pretty disappointed as I paid extra for the real deal, my printer’s ink isn’t widely available at the major retailers as it is an older model. I informed the seller of this and they said to return the (opened) item. I am just thinking how is best to return open ink cartridges in the post, as presumably they could leak? Cling film perhaps? Is this something that Royal Mail would have restrictions on?

Did you not have a cap that was removed? Stick the cap back on if you have it. Wrap in cling film and put in a freezer bag maybe
