Why does coffee tast of nothing ?

All of a sudden all the cups of coffee I've been drinking tast of just nothing ... no flavour just hot milk or bitter .

I usually have a flat white or cappuccino and withing the last month /2 months majority taste just meh , also I've gone right off tea .

I have had that nast cold and cough for 4 weeks , I never checked for covid and no way I'm pregnant.

I couldnd go a morning without one and now I'm not botherd .

Are the batistas all using the same coffee grounds?

Shall coffee tastes of nothing. If you're going to the same place every time then maybe they have been using an out of date bag of beans

I'm the same, particularly with coffee. I've also had a (mild) cold/sore throat over the last fortnight, don't know if it's Covid or not. I wish it would piss off though, I enjoy my coffee!

Possibly it could be covid?

I had it, tested positive over 4 weeks ago now. Am still not back to normal and still can't taste and smell barely at all. Taste has come back a little, but smell - almost nothing. I've never had this issue with any other dold or virus prior.

Hopefully it will subside in time.
