Who else has seen it?
I'm watching it now. I don't like it, I hate the Grand High Witch's accent. It's also too close to the original but has none of the subtlety. The only aspect I like so far are that the hero and his grandma are black Americans from the South and aren't wealthy. I was hopeful that that would mean quite a fresh take on the story. But, 45 min in, and it's like it's a pale imitation of the Anjelica Houston one.
