Do banks certify bank statements?

I'm asking for my DSis whose in the middle of Court proceedings with her ex. He's been ordered to provide bank statements, but my sis believes that he'll doctor them to his advantage.
How can she ensure that the bank statements she sees will be genuine?

Should she ask her ex to get the bank to certify his statements, or is this something the banks don't do?

When I applied for a mortgage with a different bank, my mortgage was selected for a random audit so I needed to provide bank statements on header paper which was then stamped and signed by the bank manager so I imagine your sisters lawyer could request this rather then self printed ones.
